COMEDY IN CAMBODIA COMEDY SINCE 2011

SpeakEasy Theatre is thrilled to be considered the home of Comedy in Cambodia, the hardest working comedy group in Phnom Penh.

Founded in 2011 Comedy in Cambodia has been entertaining audiences with their hilarious stand-up shows ever since.

They first started performing at The Box Office in 2017, and moved to the SpeakEasy Theatre in 2021, where they continue to bring together both local and international comedians to deliver an unforgettable night out.

The group hosts their weekly show, Stand Up : Unscripted, at SpeakEasy Theatre, as well as continuing to deliver their unmatched Comedic Sylings stand-up shows throughout the month. 

Stand Up : Unscripted is a free show that is open to all and is held every week. The show is unique in that it is based entirely on the audience’s anonymous written suggestions. The comedians pull out brand new jokes from thin air, which makes the show unpredictable and exciting, with no winners or losers.

The move to SpeakEasy Theatre has been a significant milestone for Comedy in Cambodia. The new venue is larger and more comfortable, which means that more people can enjoy the show. The group is excited about bringing new local and overseas comedians to the stage, and they are looking forward to creating an even more memorable comedy experience for their audience.

Comedy in Cambodia continues to be a force to be reckoned with in the Cambodian and International comedy scene, and they show no signs of slowing down.
