Dwayne Perkins is an American stand-up comedian from Brooklyn, New York, currently residing in Los Angeles. Comedy in Cambodia are delighted that he makes his return to the club after a long time away. He has made appearances on Conan, Comedy Central, and as a regular correspondent on The Jay Leno Show. He was selected by Rolling Stone magazine as one of their "Five Comics to Watch". He’s a former ‘artist-in-residence’ at the Rotterdam International Comedy Festival.

Perkins began performing at the Uptown Comedy Club in Harlem.
While performing at The Comedy Studio in Boston, he was scouted by Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and made his television stand-up comedy debut on that show. During this period, he also appeared in the New Faces of Comedy showcase at the Just for Laughs festival in Montreal.

Dwayne has earned a spot in today’s elite class of standup comics with several appearances on Comedy Central and Conan. His one-hour comedy special: “Dwayne Perkins: Take Note” debuted on Netflix to rave reviews. It showcases his unique way of looking at life and his unparalleled ability to convey it in a hilarious manner. Take Note remains a fan favourite enjoyed on various streaming services. Dwayne is the author of the book, “Hot Chocolate For The Mind,” A collection of humorous essays. He’s also the co-author of the novel, “Zombie Run” a post-apocalyptic love story. Dwayne co-wrote and starred in the feature suspense film “Dying To Kill,” now on Amazon, where he plays a stand-up comic who has to get laughs or die trying. His recurring piece on The Jay Leno Show, “Great White Moments in Black History,” was a viewer favourite. Dwayne’s Dry Bar Specials have gone viral with several clips having over 10 million views. Dwayne’s a co-host on the Unofficial Official Story Podcast where they explore explained phenomena and conspiracy theories with a comical slant.
